Frequently asked questions

How long can I store my chocolate chip cookies ?

If you store your cookies in an airtight container, they can be consumed up to a week after preparation. But generally, they are devoured much more quickly!

Can I replace some of the sugar with brown sugar ?

Absolutely! You can substitute part or even all of the white sugar with brown sugar to bring a richer and slightly caramelized flavor to your cookies.

Can I use salted butter instead of unsalted butter in this recipe ?

Yes, you can use salted butter if you prefer a slight salty taste in your cookies. Just make sure to adjust the amount of salt accordingly.

Should I refrigerate the cookie dough before baking ?

It is recommended to refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking to allow the flavors to develop and to prevent the cookies from spreading too much when baked.

Can I add nuts or other dried fruits to my cookie recipe ?

Of course! You can add chopped nuts, such as pecans or hazelnuts, as well as dried fruits like raisins or cranberries to add crunch and texture to your cookies.
