14 tips and tricks about the thermomix recipe

  • Choose ripe and sweet strawberries to obtain a flavorful granita. You can also add a little sugar if necessary.
  • For a creamier texture, you can add some plain yogurt or fresh cream to the strawberry mixture before freezing.

  • Add a drizzle of fresh lemon juice to enhance the flavor of the strawberries and add a touch of acidity.
  • If you want a lighter granita, you can replace some of the strawberries with various red fruits, such as raspberries or blackberries.
  • Before blending the strawberries, you can place them in the freezer for a few hours to achieve a more granular texture.
  • For a more intense flavor, you can add a few fresh mint leaves to the strawberry mixture before blending.
  • If you prefer a less sweet granita, you can add a little water or apple juice to dilute the strawberry mixture.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar according to your personal preferences. Start with a small amount and add more gradually if necessary.
  • Once the strawberry mixture is frozen, regularly scrape the surface with a fork to form ice crystals and achieve the characteristic texture of a granita.
  • Serve the strawberry granita in pre-chilled cups or glasses and garnish it with a few slices of fresh strawberries for a colorful and appetizing presentation.
  • The strawberries should be very cold. To achieve this, put them in the freezer for 30 to 60 minutes before using.
  • If you don't have any strawberries, you can use strawberry syrup to make a refreshing strawberry syrup granita thermomix or grenadine for a grenadine granita thermomix.
  • You can replace the strawberries with other fruits such as raspberries to make other delicious thermomix granitas like raspberry granita thermomix, or melon for melon granita thermomix, or kiwi for kiwi granita thermomix.
