Accompaniments

Wines

With this soft raspberry cake, you might opt for a semi-sweet or sweet white wine to complement the sweetness of the raspberries. A sparkling wine such as Moscato d'Asti or a sweet Prosecco could also pair well with the fruity flavors of the cake. If you prefer red wine, a light and fruity wine like Pinot Noir could be a good option, although it may not be as perfectly matched as sweet or sparkling white wines.

Beers

With a soft raspberry cake, you might look for a light and fruity beer to complement the delicate flavors of the dessert. A wheat beer (white beer) could be an excellent choice due to its fruity notes and refreshing character. A Belgian Witbier or a German Weissbier with their citrus and coriander aromas could pair nicely with the raspberries. You could also consider a light blonde beer with fruit notes such as a Blonde Ale or a Bière de Garde. Just make sure the chosen beer is not too bitter, so as not to overpower the delicate flavors of the raspberry cake.
